With AI and our Digital Age there are certain sectors that are booming now – and will continue to do so – and sectors where there is a demand for people and skills. Conversely, some sectors will decline due to the AI age. But which ones?
So, with crystal ball in hand, which jobs – and sectors - will be in demand in the near future and which will not?
Growth Sectors

4. Legal and Accounting Services that require data crunching
Every day we now ‘talk’ to computers through chatbots, automated phone and call handling, audio devices etc but do we want all our work, business and personal dealings to be this way in the future? I doubt it.
AI can do many things, but it can’t yet do those ‘human soft skills’ – and probably never will – that everyone needs for day-to-day interaction and social fulfilment. Without them teamwork is fraught, work atmospheres are negative, and job satisfaction will be way down.
So, do you pick a job that needs these human skills and hope that AI won’t take it over? I would!
