Develop sales of products, systems and engineering services to OEM customers for the Computing Division of this established market leader.

Part of a highly successful UK group, the company designs, manufacture and supplies rugged portable and industrial computing, custom battery packs, secure communication systems and antennas. Their focus is on providing highly reliable technology for use in harsh environments, where failure is not an option.

The Computing Division is involved in industrial embedded computers for OEMs, specialising in rack-mount systems, fanless PCs, and touchscreen panel PCs along with a broad range of fully and semi-ruggedised laptops, tablets and printers.

Their systems are designed and built to provide reliable operation in demanding environments where shock, vibration, dust, moisture and extremes of temperature would cause the rapid failure of conventional computer technology.

Used in a range of sectors including defence, surveillance, industrial and broadcast, the products support critical applications with the processing power and reliability demanded of them.

As Business Development Manager your prime responsibility will be to understand customer applications and problems, providing solutions through consultative selling in both existing and new customers across a range of defined sectors and markets.

This is a customer facing role involving close liaison with customer and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Ideally, you will be a seasoned Business Development professional with a background in dealing with Engineers within industrial OEM customers, helping to find application solutions and selling in products, systems and services.
