UAE - Operations Manager 
Part of a large international group the company is involved in packaged membrane filtration projects for the potable water sector. Projects are typically valued from USD500,000 to USD10 million and can be new build, refurbishments or upgrades together with associated services.

In order to develop the business they were seeking an Operations Manager to be responsible for managing and developing the business and to be responsible for the preparation of technical and commercial bids and proposals for clients throughout the region.  

The successful candidate would need to have experience in a similar environment (engineering company involved in water/waste water treatment, petrochemical sector, package units suppliers); knowledge of the most widely used Commercial Terms of transaction in the region; and knowledge of the main international engineering Standards and Codes. They would also have to have no restrictions on travelling in the Middle East Region. 

Following an extensive search across the region a shortlist of seven locally based candidates was presented, all having the right background and experience, to enable them to smoothly transition to the company.
