Part of a worldwide manufacturing group the company designs and manufactures a range of automotive components for the car, van and light truck OEM markets. With factories in the Midlands area they are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to take full responsibility for the quality function, ensuring that customer and business objectives are met.
Reporting to the European Head of Quality, the Quality Manager will be responsible for delivering and implementing quality systems and policies, for both supplier quality and quality engineering functions, providing a service to all departments across the business. The Quality Manager is expected to have an extremely high degree of customer interaction at all levels and to ensure that the company is exceeding its customer quality objectives.
The successful candidate will ideally be of degree calibre and have in excess of five years experience of managing quality in the engineering sector or automotive sector. They will be able to demonstrate their ability to manage their own team as well as the customer’s expectations.
