This large European food group employs over 5000 people. It develops, manufactures and sells high quality food products to the retail and food service sectors. With a turnover of in excess of £1billion it has market leading positions in many segments throughout Europe including the UK.
Recent refocusing within the bakery division has resulted in a new opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager based at their Midlands manufacturing site, which produces a large range of frozen bakery products across two production lines on a 24/6 basis.
Reporting to the Site Manager you will be responsible for all on-site Quality, leading a small team. The key objectives of the role are to ensure that compliant products are being manufactured to the required customers’ standards, and to effectively manage the quality system in line with Group policies and the BRC Global Standard for Food. You will present issues, conclusions and recommendations to local & group management.
As an effective team player, you will support the drive to enhance quality standards in order to ensure compliance, conformity and efficiency. You should be able to present solutions and responses to both internal and external customers. Of degree calibre, you should have proven experience of leading a quality function at a food manufacturing site, have excellent presentation skills, being at either Supervisor or Manager level currently.
