Associate Level Project Architects
Salary: Basic plus bonus and full benefits
Continued success and the award of several large projects means this established design practice is in an exciting stage of development and growth. They are now seeking to recruit a number of Associate Level Project Architects to manage projects and help spearhead their ambitious growth programme.
With studios in the South East, including London, the practice has an impressive client base across the commercial, industrial, mixed use and care/retirement sectors. They are flexible on location however, and these roles can be remotely based.
The continued growth of the practice is attributable to the successful fusion of design flair and commercial experience demonstrated by commissions in a wide range of sectors. Providing architectural design and professional services to the built environment, the practice uses design flair and commercial experience to design the best solution for each individual project, whatever the site context, brief or building type. Projects range from feasibility design studies through to build with values from £5m to £100m.
As an Associate Level Architect you will be responsible for running projects and handling clients, generally from award through to completion, although there will be opportunities on some projects to get involved at feasibility/concept stage.
Typically, a project will have a team of 5-6 Architects assigned to it and take nine to fifteen months to completion; usually an Associate will manage one to three projects at once depending on size and complexity, being hands-on during the delivery phases. They work closely with the Directors who manage the day to day operations of the studios being responsible for all client and project matters.
We are looking for experienced Senior Architects - Associates who can manage projects and teams, are able to work closely with clients and who can ‘add’ to the business having a good commercial understanding and a long-term career outlook.
