Salary: £60,000-£65,000
Operating in the water and waste sectors, the company is a process engineering concern providing design, build and project delivery services to clients both in the UK and overseas. Their Water division has been providing services to the sector since the mid 1960s and can offer both full “turnkey” as well as engineering design services to meet individual client needs. Their expertise covers physical, chemical and biological processes from both a design and construction and operational perspective.
In order to develop their business further they are seeking to recruit an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to support the tender, QS and project teams. Ensuring that all contract conditions the company work under are favourable and commercially advantageous, the role will involve advising on the contract conditions and their implications during the tender process, supporting the procurement of sub-contracts, and the post-tender support of the QS and commercial teams during contract execution.
Ideally you will be an experienced Commercial Manager, ARICS qualified, with a thorough understanding of EPC contract conditions including the ECC NEC suite of contracts. You should be able to assess tender documents from clients and develop a strategy to ensure the contract implications are to the company’s advantage. You may currently be working in the water and waste treatment sector, oil & gas sector, M & E engineering sector or general process engineering sector.
